Hope for william. Founded upon hope in Christ.

William’s Story

When our baby boy was born on March 25th he was not breathing and he showed no signs of life. He was clinically dead for somewhere between 30-45 minutes but by God’s grace and the hard work of selfless medical staff he was resuscitated and stabilized.

The significant amount of time William spent without being able to intake oxygen severely damaged his brain. He is currently on life support and undergoing multiple days of cold therapy to prevent any further damage. William is entirely unresponsive to any external stimulus and his brain appears to be damaged to the extent that he may remain in his current state permanently. William needs a miracle, William needs healing only God can bring, William needs your prayers.

We ask you, through hope in Christ bring hope to baby William.

Our Family’s Story.

William is our second child, his big sister Lucy has had a journey full of struggle and triumphs of grace as well.

During the anatomy scan for our first child Lucy we learned that she had signs of a severe genetic condition, craniosynostosis, and multiple life-threatening heart defects. We were told she may never move or breathe on her own, but by God’s grace, through the fervent prayers of His people she is a happy and healthy baby girl today.

Lucy still has many difficulties to overcome and has had various surgeries and long hospital stays to repair her skull and heart but she is living proof of God’s power to answer prayer.

our Hope in Christ.

Our suffering has been immense, we have wept many tears, many of our plans and expectations for our life have vanished before our eyes and yet we still have joy, we still have peace, we still have hope.

How?

This is not because we are special, or strong. We are not naturally more joyful or resilient than others, we are incredibly weak and astoundingly normal. We often lack the faith needed to face these trials, but when we are faithless Christ remains faithful. When we are weak Christ is our strength. When we are sorrowful Christ is our joy. Through loosing the things we thought would satisfy us my wife and I are learning that Christ is all satisfying.

We boast in our weakness, because the bible says God’s power is made perfect in weakness. We don’t want to suffer in the way we have but we rejoice that God may use our lives to show others that He will carry them through their suffering just like He has carried us through ours. If you are looking for a joy and peace that nothing can take from you, Christ stands with open arms prepared to give you that rest.

Stay Up to date.

Those who Hope.

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16

We worship the God who hears, the God abundant in mercy and steadfast in love, we have constant access to the Great Physician, we can ask the very One who knit William together in his mother’s womb to heal his body. The Bible says we do not have because we do not ask, so please join us in asking. The Bible describes God as a loving Father who will not give His children a stone if they ask for bread, so please join us in asking for this good gift. The Bible says the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective, so through confidence in Christ let us pray with anticipation of its power to save Williams life.

Innumerable people are pleading with God to heal William already, please join us as we run to the only one who can truly help and ask for His grace.

Jesus said… “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Matthew 11:28-29 NIV
